California Poppy

The California poppy is native to grassy and open areas in the upper elevations of the western United States. It's an annual, but self-seeds readily, ensuring the return of plants year after year.

Spread seeds directly into the soil in early spring. Once established, plants require little to now care to survive. Due to it's self-seeding tendency, it may be necessary to thin plants from unwanted areas in following year.
